Britney Spears celebrates her sons’ birthdays with throwback photos: ‘Hope you get all your wishes’

The “Womanizer” singer celebrated her kids’ birthdays on Saturday by posting a carousel of old pictures to Instagram. Her kids are Sean Preston and Jayden James.

It’s my boys’ birthday this month! I hope you receive everything you desire for and more on your birthday, baby 🎁! She penned a letter.

Her eldest son, Sean Preston, turned 19 on Sept. 14, while Jayden James turned 18 on Sept. 12.

“Psss, does anyone know why we’re all staring up?” Spears continued, bringing up the first photo, in which the Grammy winner, with black hair, was seen holding one of her small boys in her arms and they were both staring up at the sky.

Jayden was eighteen on Thursday, and Preston, her oldest son, turned nineteen on Saturday. The pop singer and her ex-husband Kevin Federline are parents to two children.

After it was disclosed in May 2023 that Spears and her sons hadn’t spent time together in “well over a year,” due to the adolescents’ dissatisfaction with the singer’s social media activity, the pair have been working on mending their connection.

“This month is my boys’ birthdays!!! Happy Birthday 🎁 babies and I hope you get all your wishes and more !!!” she wrote on Instagram.
Spears’ relationship with her sons has been on the mend for years after the teens reportedly took issue with her social media activity.

Following a positive phone conversation on Mother’s Day, Preston and Jayden appeared receptive to making amends with their mother, according to Federline’s lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan in June.

At the time, Kaplan told Page Six, “Obviously a reconciliation/reunification is somewhat complex and can be a process that takes some time.”

“And making the call was a positive indication and a positive step, but the process requires more than one phone call to complete,” he continued.

In June, Kevin Federline’s attorney revealed Preston and Jayden were open to reconciling with Spears after a promising Mother’s Day phone call.
Despite Jayden being of legal age, Spears will reportedly continue to pay child support for her youngest son since he’s still in high school.
