Goldie Hawn, Kurt Russell, Kate and Oliver Hudson make rare red carpet appearance as family at charity event
|On Friday night, Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell, together with her kids Oliver and Kate Hudson, made an uncommon family appearance at the MindUp and The Goldie Hawn Foundation’s Love-in Gala.
In a photo from the Beverly Hills, California, charity function, Russell, 73, and Hawn, 78, grinned while posing with 45-year-old Kate.
Hawn wore a black pantsuit with a glittering blazer and white lapels that complemented the strong white stripes that ran the length of her legs, combining elegance with businesswear.
She kept her typical blonde hair down and accessorized the ensemble with black pointed-toe heels.
Russell, on the other hand, looked sharp in a blue tie and an all-black suit.
Hawn’s ex-boyfriend Bill Hudson’s wife, Kate, looked stunning on the red carpet in a tight-fitting, glistening gold gown with a halter neckline and a side accent.
With its striking thigh-high split on the left and a backless design, the stunning floor-length gown gave off a sense of temptation.
Oliver, the 48-year-old brother of the “Almost Famous” actress, looked put together in a dark blue suit. He unzipped the blazer to show off a white button-down shirt below.
At one point, the actor stood with his mother, who appeared happy to have him there and wrapped her arms around his thin figure.
The “Overboard” star founded MindUp, a preventive mental health program, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. According to its website, MindUp teaches people of all ages how to “regulate emotions, calm the nervous system, and choose kindness and gratitude daily” in order to “create a more interconnected and compassionate future for all.”
A-list friends of the well-known family, such as Demi Moore, Melanie Griffith, Fergie, Martin Short, and “New Girl” actor Max Greenfield, were also present at the gala.
Inside the Love-In fête, Kate transformed into a floor-length, fringe dress and performed for the attendees.
In May, Kate’s debut album, “Glorious,” was released. She referred to music as her “first love” and described the album as “a lifetime in the making” before its release.
Hawn is the mother of Wyatt Russell, who she welcomed with Kurt in 1986, in addition to Kate and Oliver.
From his union with the actress Season Hubley, Kurt also has a 44-year-old son named Boston Russell.
Wyatt and Boston were not visible in the photos from Friday’s event. But the latter has a close relationship with his well-known father.
In reality, Wyatt, 38, and Kurt won a major part together in the 2023-released Apple TV+ series “Monarch: Legacy of Monsters.”
Boston, on the other hand, would rather remain anonymous.
Although Oliver recently made news for claiming he suffered childhood “trauma” partly brought on by Hawn’s demanding work schedule and personal choices, Kate and Oliver are very close to both their mother and Kurt.
