Diddy’s Ex Bodyguard Alleges Jay-Z Hid From Tupac At Las Vegas Hotel
|Jay-Z allegedly hid from Tupac Shakur in a Las Vegas hotel room until Suge Knight cleared up some issues, according to Diddy’s ex-bodyguard, Gene Deal.
This year will go down in history as the year where all secrets and truths in hip hop come out, and one of Diddy’s former bodyguards is at the forefront of that tell-all movement. Whether he is doing it for clout or he is doing it to shed light on things that happened behind the scenes, it’s pretty remarkable some of the things he has been saying, particularly related to his former boss.
Gene Deal recently appeared on Cam Capone News where he dishes on a number of topics related to Diddy and also shared an intriguing story about Jay-Z and Tupac Shakur that took place in the 1990s. 2Pac was killed in 1996 in a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas and since his death, there have been numerous conspiracies about who was allegedly involved. According to Deal, Hov got caught up in the infamous East Coast and West Coast rap beef of the 90s, which some blamed for both the deaths of Tupac and Biggie Smalls.
According to Diddy’s former bodyguard, Hov had a show in Las Vegas and 2Pac found out about it and went to confront him.
“I don’t know how [2] Pac found out that Jay-Z had a show, but Jay-Z was not coming out that room,” Deal said while claiming that a number of individuals had to step in to clear things up for Hov to leave the hotel room and performed at his concert. “Suge said, ‘Yo, man, that ain’t me. That’s Pac with his wild a–.’ Suge Knight told Pac to give Jay-Z a pass so he could go do his concert, because Jay wasn’t coming out of that room, you know, to do nothing,” Deal added.
Gene Deal admitted that he doesn’t really know why Tupac allegedly wanted to confront Jay-Z but believes that it could be because of bars on his “Brooklyn’s Finest” collab with Biggie Smalls. The track was released on Hov’s debut album, Reasonable Doubt, in 1996.
We should also point out that this isn’t the first time that Deal has shared this story after previously sharing it on another platform in 2022. However, Suge Knight has not spoken on the claims and no one else has stepped forward to back up what he said. Jay-Z has not reacted to the claims.
