Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce is the relationship that everyone can’t stop talking about. The 14-time Grammy winner and the NFL star made hearts everywhere swoon on Sunday 11 February, when Swift stormed the field in celebration of the Kansas City Chiefs winning Super Bowl LVIII.
After the tight end’s team beat the San Francisco 49ers in overtime, the couple were seen hugging and kissing on the field at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada. The “Anti-Hero” singer watched the 2024 Super Bowl from a VIP box. She was joined by famous friends Blake Lively, Ice Spice, and Lana Del Rey, as well as her parents and members of her boyfriend’s family.
After the Chiefs scored the winning touchdown, Swift rushed to the field linking arms with Kelce’s mother, Donna Kelce. “Come here, girl,” the tight end could be heard telling Swift, before enveloping her in a huge hug. It marked the 13th NFL game that Swift has attended in support of her boyfriend. Kelce, who is the fourth highest paid athlete to play as a tight end, is in the third year of his four-year contract with the Chiefs. His contract is worth $57.25m, with an annual salary of $14.3m until 2026 — making his estimated net worth approximately $40m.
The sweet moment comes after the “Cruel Summer” singer travelled all the way from Tokyo, Japan, just one night earlier to attend the Super Bowl. Swift had resumed the international leg of her Eras Tour on 7 February, where she performed four back-to-back concerts at the Tokyo Dome before jetting off to Las Vegas. Following the Chiefs’ win, Swift and Kelce packed on the PDA at a Super Bowl after party. Videos from the event captured the couple serenading each other to a remix of Swift’s song, “You Belong with Me”. The New Heights podcast host pointed at his girlfriend from the DJ booth, while Swift responded by happily pointing back at him with a drink in hand.
Another video caught the pair dancing to a “Love Story” remix and kissing on the dancefloor. From friendship bracelets to public displays of affection, here’s a look back at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s full relationship timeline. 8 July 2023: Kelce attends Swift’s Eras Tour show in Kansas City, Missouri It all began when Kelce admitted on his podcast, New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce, that he tried — and failed — to give Swift his number after attending one of her Eras Tour concerts. He revealed on 26 July that he made Swift a friendship bracelet, in line with Swiftie tradition, but he was left “disappointed” when things didn’t go according to plan. “I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows, because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings,” he explained to his older brother, Jason Kelce, on their podcast. “So I was a little butthurt I didn’t get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her.” “If you’re up on Taylor Swift concerts, there are friendship bracelets and I received a bunch of them being there, but I wanted to give Taylor Swift one with my number on it,” Kelce said. However, he wasn’t able to meet Swift after the show, and he jokingly told listeners that he “took it personal”.
