Brandon T. Jackson Rips Into Katt Williams In “Anti-Woke” Rant
|Brandon T. Jackson has been ticked off by Katt Williams for being a “false prophet.” The comedian appeared on a recent episode of The Kid L Podcast, where he unloaded on what he perceives to be a “fake woke” movement happening in the Black community. The host asked Jackson about his issues with Katt and referenced Williams’ infamous appearance on Club Shay Shay.
In that explosive episode, Katt took shots at Jackson, insisting that he only became successful after dressing like a woman in Big Momma House. The 40-year-old actor delivered a stern and clear message for Katt: “Stop talking through the media…why he ain’t come to me first?” After Kid L incorrectly stated that Williams’ Club Shay Shay episode was one of the “most interesting interviews that Hip-Hop” has ever seen, Jackson unloaded on Katt’s character and acts of self-mythologizing.
“I don’t like fake prophets. If you’re a real prophet, be a real prophet. Don’t just say stuff in the media,” Brandon said. “Real prophets follow the law of God. If not, you’re just a comedian talking sh*t and trying to sell tickets. Don’t come off if you’re a prophet disguised as a comedian. I’m fine with that. But real prophets have honor, not fake honor.”
“You’re exposing the industry, but you’re sides to the same people you exposed… Don’t act like you f**king free, bro. You a slave just like everybody else. Stop the bullsh*t,” Jackson later added. “Katt needs to have honor and come to the people for real and say, ‘What’s up?’ ‘Cause, Katt been dissing me since I was 20…and I’ve been nothing but a fan of him.”
The Tropic Thunder entertainer then went on to accuse the comedian of being on drugs. Jackson insisted that “cocaine and Jesus don’t mix” and asserted that Williams needs to take a look in the mirror.
“You can’t sniff cocaine and say you love Jesus at the same time. Like, what is he? Cocaine and Jesus don’t mix. Like, stop the games. Like, either you going to be righteous or you going to be wicked. Or you say I’m both. Or say, look I’m working on myself. I mean nobody’s perfect. But don’t act like you just profit, dude,” he doubled down. “Exactly, like, are you a prophet or you trying to profit?… Don’t do this woke sh*t if you’re not really going to be about it. That’s my issue…That’s why I don’t respect what Katt Williams be saying.”
At this point in the conversation, Brandon’s temper and passion had seemingly gotten the best of him. The comedian shifted his focus away from Katt and then examined the Black community at large. He asserted that nobody actually “wants to come together” and bluntly declared, “F**k all that Black sh*t.”
“If we gon really divide, let’s do it! F**k all this fake Black sh*t. If we gon really divide, then divide. But if not, ni**a you’re American!…I hate fake Black movements. I sacrificed my family and all my sh*t and these ni**as was still working while we was in the communities working…I don’t want to hear that sh*t…they don’t want to come together unless it’s some strip club sh*t.”
