Reports of Diddy losing a massive amount of weight in jail have been debunked, but his attorney revealed one of his biggest struggles in the slammer.

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is currently at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn awaiting trial for racketeering and sex trafficking charges. The feds have indicated that more charges could be on the horizon for him as a federal grand jury continues to hear testimony from witnesses and view evidence.

The Bad Boy Records founder was in court this week for his third hearing and some folks reported noticing that he looked a bit thinner than usual. That sparked speculations that he might have lost a ton of weight since his arrest in September. A sketch from the hearing shows Diddy seated in chains and an orange jumpsuit near his attorneys and even in the sketches he looked a bit thinner.

Early into his incarceration, there were rumors claiming that Diddy wasn’t eating in jail due to fear of being poisoned. The entertainment mogul was reportedly fearful that he could end up like Jeffrey Epstein especially since he is being housed at the same facility. His attorneys later denied those claims stating that he was eating just fine as he prepared to defend himself against the charges.

Diddy’s people are now pushing back against the speculations around his weight loss. TMZ reported that sources are saying that he lost a lot of weight before his arrest so his sudden thinner frame isn’t so sudden. Sources familiar with the situation says the rap mogul was hunkered down at his Miami mansion for a long time while the feds did their investigation. He reportedly started a physical and mental health program to stay in good shape ahead of his legal showdown.

It’s unclear the exact amount of weight he lost during that time, but it was several months after his homes were raided before he was indicted and arrested in New York.

Following his court hearing on Thursday (October 10), Diddy’s attorney Marc Agnifilo commented on what his biggest struggles in jail are and he revealed it’s probably the food. “I think the food’s probably the roughest part of it,” the attorney told People. Combs himself received an emotional visit from his mother and twin daughters last week. His mother and some of his children were in court this week to support him. A sketched image shows his mother Janice Combs blowing kisses towards the mogul who was in chains looking on with a smile on his face.
