Kaley Cuoco and Tom Pelphrey Show Off Daughter Matilda’s Pony and Custom Saddle During Horseback Riding Lesson

The daughter of Kaley Cuoco is holding “them giddy-up reins!”

On Saturday, Sept. 28, the 38-year-old newly engaged actress shared a photo of her 17-month-old daughter Matilda riding her new pony during a horseback riding session. The pony’s name was also disclosed by the former flight attendant.

Cuoco wrote, “Saturday riding lesson with [trainer] @farinaeichhorn and her perfect pony, Skye,” over an Instagram Stories video that showed her fiancé, Tom Pelphrey, strolling beside Matilda on her pony.

The star of Big Bang Theory also posted pictures of her kid’s saddle. She is actually supported by a specially built saddle that we had made for her. Cuoco recently told PEOPLE, “And she just sits in that thing and walks around and it is crazy,” adding, “We’re all there.”

Cuoco used “Cowgirls” by ERNEST and Morgan Wallen as the soundtrack for her Instagram Stories video. Lyrics like “one hand on them giddy-up reins” and “long live cowgirls” are appropriate for the tune.
As Matilda approaches 18 months old, the mother said to PEOPLE in September that her and 42-year-old Pelphrey welcomed the child in March 2023. Matilda is “so fearless.”

Cuoco said, “I know we’re in trouble,” referring to Matilda and her pony.

Cuoco continued, stating that her infant is learning about her passions: “She eats everything.” She enjoys being outside. She adores her father. She has a boy-like appearance. She adores helicopters, monster trucks, and airplanes. She considers everything in the sky to be the most incredible thing. It’s nice that she adores horses as well.

Cuoco stated she was open to having a second child before she and Pelphrey, who announced their engagement in August, got married at a recent Rock4EB event on September 21.

She said to PEOPLE that “maybe another kid will have to come first” and that the couple “haven’t started planning anything yet” for the wedding.

We are going to go completely off course. That’s our strategy, Cuoco said.
