Online users beg Barbara Eden, 93, to quit botox after transformation leaves fans stunned

Barbara Eden made people dream of Jeannie in the 1960s, but the recently 93-year-old performer is now making fans wish she would stop getting botox.

Eden was able to work her magic as the lead in I Dream of Jeannie, but fans now refer to her as a “botoxed filled actor” who appears to have “nuts stored for the winter.”

Eden, who was only 35 years old when she made her debut as the endearing 2000-year-old woman in the bottle, is now a nonagenarian and recently celebrated another birthday.

The celebrity, who turned ninety-three on August 23, was seen pampering herself with a trip to her neighborhood salon in Van Nuys, California.

The actor, who costarred with Elvis Presley in the 1960 film Flaming Star, looked amazing in a sunflower-yellow maxi skirt, which she wore with a black crewneck long sleeve top. She was wearing big retro white specs that covered her eyes and a pair of useful wedge sandals.

Her white-blonde hair was blown out and her nails were newly painted when she left the salon.

Regarding her birthday, Eden expressed her gratitude to People by saying, “I am so grateful to have completed another trip around the sun.” Eden shares her birthday with People.

The actress continues, “I’ll be spending my birthday eating lunch with my spouse and some great friends. I’ve been married to Jon Eicholtz since 1991. Along with my family, I’ll be spending the weekend with my sister Alison, her husband, and their kids. I would like to express my gratitude to all of my friends and admirers worldwide for their wonderful wishes and expressions of love on my special day.

‘A very happy girl’

On the same day, she posted a picture of herself and her husband standing on social media.

With her neatly styled hair and radiant smile, the “happy girl” exudes confidence.

“My deepest thanks to everyone for all the lovely messages, wishes of joy and kindness I have received today!” she says, expressing her gratitude for all the love. I’ve made an effort to “like” as many of your messages as I can, but there are just so many! “It warms my heart, truly, to know so many of you have reached out and feel so fondly for me today and have sent such beautiful messages,” the Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea actor says. From the bottom of my heart, I sincerely appreciate all of your help!

“This was taken just a few hours ago before my darling husband Jon and I went to have my birthday lunch together,” Eden writes as she closes the message. Once more, thank you so much; I’m one happy girl! xoxo, Barbara.

“Thank you for being a special part of my childhood,” writes the third person. When I tried to clean my room, I used to cross my arms and blink like Jeannie did. It never failed to amaze me when it did. “Jesus, I can’t believe she’s still with us, she looks amazing,” says another. That show was fantastic.

Storing nuts

Meanwhile, some reviewers seized the chance to claim that the renowned actor uses an excessive amount of “fillers.”

Regarding her face, one user queries, “Why do the doctors always put in too much, making them look like they have nuts stored for the winter?”

“Why do we pretend these botoxed filled actors are naturally looking great at age 93?” asks a second netizen. A third person writes, “Awful.”

Another says, “She’s still in good [shape] for a genuine oldie, but she would look better if she hadn’t filled her face up with plastic.”
