The Brutalist – Adrien Brody Film From A24 Gets New Trailer

The first full trailer has been released for Brady Corbet’s latest film, The Brutalist, which has garnered exceptional praise from critics since it premiered at this year’s Venice Film Festival in September.

Starring Adrien Brody, Felicity Jones, Guy Pearce, Joe Alwyn, Raffey Cassidy, Stacy Martin, Emma Laird, with Isaach De Bankolé and Alessandro Nivola, The Brutalist follows an architect who sets out to rebuild his life in America following the war.

It’s a remarkable film and, until now, has piqued people’s interest solely through word of mouth and a short 60-second teaser, which was released in October.

Today, A24 unveils the full-length trailer, which details more of what’s to come from the film that scored seven Golden Globe nominations when the full list of nominees was announced yesterday.

Made for under $10 million, The Brutalist is an impressive accomplishment for all involved.

With sweeping vistas, stunningly crafted shots by the film’s cinematographer, Lol Crawley, a gorgeous score, and immaculate performances from everyone, it really is the film you ought to chase down a ticket for when it releases next week.

It’s a bold move to only release a film’s full trailer a matter of days before its release, but it makes sense for The Brutalist, which is a work of risk in itself.

The Brutalist will be available in select theaters from December 20, 2024, including special 70MM presentations.
