Tony Buzbee, Lawyer Representing Sean “Diddy” Combs Accusers, Sued For Assault
|Tony Buzbee, the lawyer representing over 100 people claiming that Sean “Diddy” Combs sexually assaulted them, is facing a lawsuit himself. According to TMZ, Buzbee is being accused of assault by a woman, recognized as Jane Doe in the filing.
The tabloid reported she alleges the attorney assaulted her while repping her in a divorce case. A source claims Buzbee saw the woman out in public and flew into a “fit of rage” allegedly pushing a champagne flute into her face, chipping her tooth. The woman claims to have medical records proving her injuries and also alleges he committed malpractice, costing her millions.
“Tony Buzbee is a hypocrite. There is nothing worse than when a black hat masquerades as a white hat,” said the woman’s lawyer, Jeremy Bohrer, to TMZ.
Buzbee says the case has no standing.
“That’s crazy fiction. Like really crazy. Like ridiculously crazy. I would ask if the lawyer bringing this silly case is friends with a lawyer from the firm that brought the other [extortion] case. All this will be exposed soon,” shared the lawyer, referring to a lawsuit filed earlier this week where he is accused of extortion by a “high profile individual.”
The unnamed person has ties to Diddy and is a former associate of the disgraced Hip-Hop mogul. Buzbee is accused of threatening to issue “entirely fabricated and malicious allegations of sexual assault — including multiple incidents of rape of a minor, both male and female — against Plaintiff if he refuses to comply with their demands.”
“We won’t be bullied or silenced by frivolous cases being filed against me or against my clients. All of this is false and I won’t tolerate defamation,” declared Buzbee to TMZ.
